I had Kapersky Pure installed on my laptop and it expired. Since it expired every time I try to download anything from any source it goes through the download but when I ask it to run the message comes up that a virus was detected and the download is deleted. I have removed the Kapersky software but I still cannot download anything.:banghead:

Do you perhaps have another computer you can use to download the removal tool to and then copy it to a usb flash drive? Some public libraries let you download files, but I hear that some don't.

Sorry if I sound pushy or anything, but did you try what I suggested for downloading the removal tool that ignatzatsonic linked you to? I only ask because I posted it three days ago and you did not state whether you were able to run something copied from another system or not in your last reply.
