dreamscene problem

Well whats the filetype you are attempting to use? Dreamscene isn't known for its broad compatibility.

dreamscene videos should be in wmv format. if not, it doesnt work!!!

I have used AVI format with no problem before and with sound.

Place your Dreamscene files in this folder:

Windows > Web > Windows DreamScene

MPEG
WMV

To make a video file as dreamscene(avi, mpeg, wmv), you can right click on it and select the option set as background. Once set, in the desktop right click to play or pause the video.

retail version

anyone have any luck getting dreamscene working with retail version of windows 7? I tried getting it to work on windows 7 ultimate retail and didn't work
