Hello,

I have a wierd problem that i don't understand:

Becouse of an unfortunatly accident (whici i don't yet understand), my drive letters change, my C: became D, and so on, and logically, the windows couldn't start becouse it didn't know where windwos was. What was strange, using acronis backup, to restore my windows, it says that C: is actually assignt to System reserved space. I have 2 hard disks, 500 gb each, the first time it crashed, it also made an other hard drive master and the one that should have been master, a slave. I checked in bios, the one that is master is put as a boot devide, first is dvd rom, second the hard disk, the one that is supoosed to be there.
Also, shouldn't the disk with windows on me disk 0?

Those anyone have an idea why is this happening? Never had this problem before and it already happened 2 times in a week, its getting annoying.

Hello and welcome Jack I think you will find that disk 1 is still the OS drive mate if you go to that screen again and right click on that C: partition > open it will show you what is in there ie Windows program files etc see pic of mine. Do the same thing on the other partitions to see what is in them.

Ok, but that doesn't solve the problem that it makes system reserved as c, windows as d and windows doesn't start.
But i think i found a solution, it seems you can make the boot mgr or what ever is called to be placed in the windows partition, this way it should solve the problem with windows not starting becouse things are confuzed:D
