I am trying to debug a BSOD on an HP-180t. I am checking all my drivers. I can't seem to find a driver for my monitor. It is a Dell 1707FP. The Dell web site does not list a driver for Vista or for Windows 7 for the 1707FP.

Is anyone using this monitor for Windows 7?

I had to return my first 180t. I tried to get HP Support to help me debug the BSOD problem. They had me try a few things. The last thing was to update the BIOS. After the update the 180t would not even boot. Just had it a week so I sent it back and ordered another. Waiting for that one to arrive.

I very much doubt a driver for your monitor would cure a bsod , it just tells the OS what monitor you have and installs a colour profile , thats about all the drivers do but they are here is you want em

Drivers and Downloads

dont worry about the operating system it doesnt matter , you will have to manually install the colour prfile though , the driver install will put them in the right place just goto colour management in control panel and select it from the ICC profiles list
