driver help

Hi guys, i installed windows 7 build 7100 RC 32bit build on a desktop. Its a custom build pc so i don't have much info about it. I ran Intel chipset identification and go this:


I need to download the chipset driver. Can anyone help me please?

Run CPU-Z to id the chipset, CPU etc.

*edit - d'oh! Enter the info you have, ICH7 845 GV etc, into the Intel search bar. It will take you there.

Pardon my stupid attack earlier. I was heading out the door with my beautiful wife and was not focused.

I was a bit surprised at your question, I apologize for that. But it forces me to remind you - On a clean install, load the chipset driver first, before all other drivers. It contains an instruction set that all other drivers will reference. It is possible that the instruction set includes new data (relative to individual drivers). Just a Drivers 101 tip.
