I dl'd Driver Sweeper 2.8.5 and it contained some adware called "opencandy" Not much of a threat unless your a neatnik like me. I think I dl'd from phyxion. Just a heads up.

OK I got it via majorgeeks.

I no longer know where the adware came from. It was in my backups. MSE says it cleaned the backup files. They were Acronis? Is that possible?

OK MSE removed the adware from some MS backups I had. I think that is pretty neat. Didn't know that was possible.

You're not alone...

I just downloaded Driver Sweeper to see if it would be helpful. MSE detected this OpenCandy adware as well (which I had removed right away). What the adware most likely was, is what appeared to be an optional "fake" Bing Bar during the install process.
