Driver Updates

I thought I would be real smart and go through the device driver and "update driver" on all the items. But, I keep getting this error "encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device" It also said that "The system cannot find the file specified". Does this mean that I won't be able to update my device drivers?
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate with SP1 on a 64 bit system.

HP Support & Drivers

Enter your model number or use the auto detect button. Then you can find the latest drivers.
There may or may not be newer ones.

I wouldn't be in a big hurry to update drivers unless I had a problem that I strongly suspected or knew would be resolved by a driver update. If it ain't broke..............................
