Solved DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error. BSOD

Has happened 3 times. Happens when it tries to hibernate or sleep. I just installed a new hard drive and had to rebuild from scratch - did get some challenges on the drivers but all errors are gone now. Obviously reading the posts on this error - there is a driver error but I'm not sure which one.

The dump zip file is attached.

I'd appreciate any help you can give. Thanks!

You need to update the SATA controller, which is an element of AMD chipset.

HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC ... search in HP for the matching driver.

Thank you so much! It's fixed. I will put this out there for any who have same challenge. First you said it was the amd_sata.sys and since I have an identical PC - I took the good file and copied it to the PC. Rebooted. This did not work. But you also mentioned chipset which pointed me at the BIOS - so I ran an update on that and yep, took care of it. Thanks so much again!
