Hello,

I received two BSOD's last night while downloading some data from a newsgroup:

The first BSOD pointed to my wireless adapter. I updated it to the latest driver and again began my download.

About 5 hours later I got the 2nd BSOD:

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

After re-booting Win7 informed me that the system had recovered from an unexpected shutdown with the following details:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 9f
BCP1: 00000003
BCP2: 868C7568
BCP3: 8313BAE0
BCP4: AB2C7238
OS Version: 6_1_7600
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 256_1

Win 7 checked but gave me no message indicating that it had found a solution.

My Wireless adapter is Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN with the following properties:
Driver Date: 9/15/2009
Driver Version 13.0.0.107
Power Management
Allow Computer to turn off this device - checked

I went to Computer Management/Event Viewer/Windows Log/System and copied the following error information:

I find it interesting the Microsoft spells Browser wrong but.....

FYI - Firefox is my default bowser.

I have been fighting continued connection drop errors (posted elsewhere in this forum) but these are the first BSODs.

Anyone have an idea what might be going on?

Thanks,
Ski
