Hi everyone!

I have a ATI Radeon 9550 / X1050 Series, and now, i've Windows 7, but the drivers aren't compatibles with this OS.

Where i can find the drivers for Windows 7?

It's urgent

Thanks guys

Try here: Graphics Drivers & Software

select if you have 32 or 64 bit where it says windows Vista and then your type.

Or the windows 7 beta drivers.ATI Catalystâ„¢ Beta Driver Package for Windows 7

just unblock the setup and run it as an administrator. If you have more than 4gb or memory, you might try taking out all but the 4gb and install it, then reinsert your RAM. Sometimes it has problems with more than 4gb of memory.

If you fill out your system specs fully in your User CP, it will be easier for people to help you out.

Just my $0.02 but... You need to remember how you resolved your issue. Then report back to this thread so others with the same problem can fix theirs also, hopefully. This is why this is called a help forum...

9000x isn't support by ati catalyst drivers for windows 7. So how did you get the drivers to install?

I've tried 9.3 (last supported for vista 32bit) and kept getting the failed status.

A solution

Here's someones solution that worked for me:

I was having the same issue, just rebuilt an older machine (Athlon XP 2600+ with 1.5gig of ram and a Radeon 9550) to try Windows 7.

After a few hurdles which I semi expected on relatively old hardware, like the USB mouse not working when I plugged a jump drive in, then having to get the driver for the onboard LAN port, etc, I was faced with trying to find a way of getting the driver for the 9550 installed.

The long and the short is: download the XP version of the driver, then unpack it and let it give you the error saying that you need to be running Windows 2K/XP and stop.

Then go into the folder it unpacked to (default is c:\ATI\Support\9_3_xp32_dd\ though the last folder will be different if you use the 64 bit version) and right click the Setup application, go down the menu and select properties.

Then click the Compatibility tab and check the first box to run it in compatibility mode as Windows XP (Service Pack 3), click Apply and OK.

Then you can double click Setup, it'll run through the install and restart the machine, that should be you sorted with the driver installed, if not then I apologize because it worked for me!
