Hi, (Windows 8.1 64bit)
I have built a new computer recently and it's been running brilliantly until I installed my old graphics card into my new computer. My graphics card is a GTX 660 and before I was using on-board graphics.

When I play Arma 3 or Garry's mod or maybe other games (I'm not sure) sometimes it happens after about 5 minutes of playing, sometimes 1 hour or more. My game suddenly starts to go really slow and the sound deteriorates, then my PC freezes because of this problem when Arma 3 or gmod is running, and my internet just disconnects. I then HAVE TO restart my whole computer

I don't understand why this only started happening once I've installed my GTX 660.
It only happens when I play games (at the moment them 2 in particular)

I was wondering if somebody can help me out as I'm quite concerned.

I have an intel i7 4970k
850 wat evga psu
2400 mhz ram g skill 16gb
gtx 660 etc..

I also sometimes here a buzzing sound coming from my PC monitor not my Case!

and ive tried everything! ive tried drivers uninstalling and installing. ive tried everything people have given me help on toms hardware, but no one could help me properly.

"The driver \Driver\nvoclk64 failed to load for the device ROOT\SYSTEM\0002." < i get this as well

ive currently taken out my gpu because i thought it was that which is faulty, but it was working fine in my old pc. i only built this 2 weeks ago and it was fine before i put in my gpu, but ive taken it out and its fine but I can't play games due to my CPU temps reaching 80-90 Because it's using On-board graphics < which is normal.

I dont know if its my gpu overheating or something, ive literally tried everything, ive tested hdd, memory etc.
and i get this errors too:

"
Faulting application name: igfxCUIService.exe, version: 6.15.10.3907, time stamp: 0x53e0fb5e
Faulting module name: igfxCUIService.exe, version: 6.15.10.3907, time stamp: 0x53e0fb5e

but for some reason i also got the "The driver \Driver\nvoclk64 failed to load for the device ROOT\SYSTEM\0002." at night when i had my gpu out and was using on-board :Z
I hope somebody can help me out, thanks.

Hello and welcome terminator some system specs please http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

Now try this because the buzzing sound has me wondering if the PSU is not going south and genrally this components is very often overlooked as a problem cause.
Using HW Info PSU

Download HW Info and pick the right bit version -
HWiNFO,HWiNFO32/64 - Download -(click on link or copy and paste this site into the search bar) If you do not need therunning information in the smaller right hand panel close it. In the left handwindow click on the + for the individual device groupings and they will open outto the various components.

Go on opening out further until you get to the device itself. click on it and itwill highlight. In the right hand window there will be a verydetailed description of that device as in brand, speeds model number etc etcThese are very detailed and are just what is needed for searching for driversetc.

To get the PSU volts you need to select the Sensor button circled in yellow inthe pic for PSU testing do the same and scroll down the readout as in my pic towhere it has Nuvoton = yours might be a different section name / title. Postback a pic of that please.

If you want a more definitive test see this
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/301799-psu-test-dc-output-voltage.html
but please only use adigital multimeter and not an analogue as they inject typically 9v into acircuit to test and into a 3.3v or 5v rail - not a good idea!!see the partialpic of the correct sort of meter in that tutorial. details if you scroll down thatlisting.

A good reference to the output is this
Voltage Rails - Power Supply 101: A Reference Of Specifications

I would also consider replacing the compound on the CPU and the GPU if it were me and I would use these for cleaning and the compound itself
Arctic Silver Incorporated - Arctic Silver 5 & for cleaning Arctic Silver Incorporated - ArctiClean

Plus what sort of cooling are you using??
