Hey! Im gonna build a new PC and put my harddrive that im using in. But i have 1 question, i have 2 drives on the computer ( C: and D: ) will the the D: Drive corrupt when im gonna move it to the new PC or is the 2 drives just gonna change letters?
The way I do it is to install the main drive that will be C: then install the Operating System and drivers. Once that is working I install the second drive which usually will become D: with the Optical drive becoming E:. If there is an old Operating System on D: there usually is not a problem but best to uninstall its files or if the data is not needed use Disk Management to delete the partition/s the recreate as desired and format.

No i mean C: is the OS drive and D: is my Data/storage drive. I mean if the letters will change after putting it in(it is 1 single harddrive) or the Data/storage drive will corrupt?

Since it is a single drive there are 2 partitions on it, C: and D:. Putting the drive in a different computer shouldn't change that but there may be issues with Windows when it sees/identifies a different motherboard.

If you are going to be using a new motherboard, then it would be recommended to reinstall Windows instead of just using the existing installation from another motherboard to avoid potential issues.
If the drive letter of your D: (Data) drive gets changed, then you could always change it back to D.
