I installed the above 2 weeks ago, and with efforts of the guys on here, i got a few answers.
But this thing i think is faulty, there is a constant humming noise. Ive purchased two noctua fans, there are no other fans working although are ready to be connected, so iv have eliminated fan noise. There doesn't seem to be any vibration. It just sounds like a pump(cpu pump) what should be going a lot slower, my shows at 4k rpm. I would expect noise of sort but this is not silent, i think the stock intel heatsink fan was quieter.
So how noisy should this be?
I have the tv on, one side of room and this cooler is definitely more audible than the tv.

Cheers guys

I hear nothing out of my H80 cooler with "quiet" fans. I wonder if its some vibration in the case? rather than a pump?

Are the fans mounted on rubber or direct to the case metal?

I would double check the mobo screws and pump mounting screws are snug. If they are then I would contact Corsair and check on their suggestions or possible RMA. I've had a H50 and H100 and both run dead quiet with Noctua fans and now run two Thermaltake Extreme 2.0's and soon a NZXT Kraken X60. If any of them have a serious noise then my concerns would rise. This could be motor/pump cavitation or maybe some voltage issue at the mobo which I doubt.

I have double checked everything. It is vibration noise to me, i put my ear to the cpu pump and no detectable noise.
I have rubber mounted the fans etc where possible using rubber washers. I tried to fit between rad and fan but the screws arent long enough.
Id have to double check but i disconnected the fan connected to the rad and run the pump only but there was still noise, so the thought that there was vibration noise between the two isnt apparent, but i would have to double check.
I took it to the retailer and he said its ok, so the thought of buying a new one and then fitting and seeing if there is any difference has crossed my mind, but if they are both the same performance then im £60 down. At the same time i looked at the h80 but i dont think my case is big enough to fit the rad and fan at the top of the case. It would be tight fit between top of mobo and top of dvd drive.
Again thanks for the input.

I would keep touching and isolating various parts of the case and installed items. Something is vibrating via a fan or pump harmonic. Once located tightening or moving the item or maybe other simple actions can be taken.....hopefully.

Just happened to be on corsair website and clicked the forums link and the following was there.
H60 / H80 / H100 “Buzzing” or “Grinding" - The Corsair Support Forums

I think it sums up my situation, although i haven't mentioned in my threads on this, it is exactly like a hard drive. If id had chance today i was going to disconnect everything(ssd, hdd etc) and reconnect one by one. Now i have to prove all this to retailer, though once i print this out shouldn't be an issue, because in the uk as far i know the law says the buck lies with the retailer.
Thanks

Hi Kingscurate remember me.
http://www.sevenforums.com/hardware-devices/283446-corsair-h60-water-cooler-fan-noise.html

I read the Corsair site you posted. It seem that the problem was some power supplies are not controlling their 12v rail as good as they should and are over volting.
I would recommend monitoring your power supply because such things can cause other problems. Some of those problems can be quite damaging to hardware.
Any power supply that doesn't regulate it volts and amps correctly in my opinion should be replace.

Quote:
“Corsair has now tracked down and fixed a rare and hard to reproduce issue on some of our Hydro series coolers, specifically the H60, H80, and H100 when used in combination with certain power supplies in certain circumstances. The failure will present itself as a buzz or hum, similar to a hard drive seek noise, and may disappear and reappear at random times. This issue affects a very small number of units, and typically is more prevalent on power supplies that provide higher than +12.2V on the +12V rail, which explains why some users have experienced multiple units with the same issue – they’re plugging them into the same power supply.

Regardless, this has since been corrected and we are now shipping units that do not experience the issue. If you’ve got a noisy H100, H80, or H60 unit, and the noise is coming from the pump (not the fans), we’d like to offer you a RMA. Please Contact us by using the link on the left and request an RMA to start a replacement with a known good unit.

Thank you, and we appreciate your patience as we corrected this issue. “

The voltage in my system aint a problem after monitoring for the last 3 weeks. And i wouldnt expect it be when i paid £60 for it, though not the most expensive.
If corsair are blaming PSU, now i didnt read it all, but why did they not advise to change the psu before the cpu cooler or did they?
The lads where i purchased the cooler all have had a corsair cooler and got rid.
Now all im pointing out is the things may go wrong with the cooler, ive read good things thats why i went for one.
I have now changed the cooler for a noctua air cooler, and the thing that swung it was the thought of 1 of these coolers leaking all over my system. There are 1 or 2 instances of this.
