Dual Boot - both Win 7

Having Same problem

Hi, I have tried the same thing of making a image of my Win 7 from C: drive and restoring it to D: drive. while it dual boots okay, the the shortcuts, application links, event he desktop location is pointing to the older C: drive.

Both C: and D: are on the same harddisk.

Can you please let me know the steps, i need to follow, to ensure the the two installations access different respective location, example programs in the Win 7 installation on D: should point to installed applications on D:, currently they are pointing applications installed to C:

When you restore an image you want to choose the Auto drive selection setting so that when it boots (after Startup Repair if necessary) it will always see itself as C, as Win7 is engineered to do when it is correctly installed from boot and not run from another OS or re-imaged to another letter drive.
