dual boot not working....cant choose between the choices

You're better off with Linux dual booting via the BIOS by unplugging the Windows HD when you install. Then set the Windows HD to boot first in BIOS, boot the other using the one-time BIOS Boot menu key at boot.

What I would do now is install EasyBCD to the booting Windows OS to add the other one. If any listings still exist I would first delete all but the booted OS in Edit OS Menu.

Now you have your choice of Windows OS's using Windows Boot Menu, and can trigger Linux HD to boot using the BIOS shortcut key.
