dual boot time not responding

i can change boot time in system properties or in msconfig but the time not changing in boot manager list it stays on 30 sec whatever i change it.

i have dual boot win 7 and vista. please help me fix that.thank you

Try reading through this tutorial for instructions on how to use BCDEDIT to change the boot time.

Here is another thought:

Go to msconfig, under the Boot tab, make sure the box "Make all settings permanent" is unchecked.
