Dual Boot W7 and W8

So I am running W8 in a VB with W7 right now. I think I will try it in a dual boot next for further playing with/testing. I posted this question on 8 forums but will ask here to, I'm sure there are dual booters here to so I am seeking an answer.

Here is the question I asked

I have a question. If I do a dual boot, I noticed my BIOS offers some extra options for Windows 8. The pic is below. I won't do the Secure boot, but the fast boot is worth a try. I get really fast boots since adding a SSD, but have heard 8 is really quick. If I'm running a dual boot, can I enable this, or will it not let me because I have seven also. Thanks.

I don't think Fast Boot will affect the existing install but since every BIOS is different with UEFI you'll need to test it.

When you install Win8 last from boot it should configure the nicer Metrosexual Dual Boot screen.

Let us know how you like Win8 by comparison. I rarely keep 8 Dual Boots longer that the time it takes to set it up.

Thanks again Greg, I followed the tutorial and did the install via USB. Man that was quick! So far so good, an ominous sign with my WEI maybe?

I don't really judge anything by the WEI score but regard it more as trivia. What matters is the day-to-day performance. If anything seems lacking, you can winnow out all of the repeat errors in Admin log which I tend to do on new installs if time permits.
