Dual Boot W7 & Ubuntu

hi folks
I was thinking of dual booting the above but was wondering if this would affect my pc waking up to record thru w7-mce would I have to set something too make sure w7 boot from sleep mode or am I right in thinking as long as I go too sleep mode in win 7 all will be ok ?
I know its a daft question and quite logical was just wondering has anyone got this configuration

I use that setup having installed Ubuntu from within Win 7.

Win 7 is the first (default) option in the boot menu and will automatically boot unless you physically select Ubuntu.

In other words, switch your machine on and walk away. When you return, Windows will be running.
