Ahh....everyone loves dual booting

Before we get started....I need you to choose a bootloader

GRUB - Open Source Bootloader that can literally boot any OS BUT if you uninstall Ubuntu, you won't be able to boot until you run a startup repair on Server 2008

Windows - It is fine but you will have to use easyBCD or the command line to add a manual entry for Ubuntu. You will also half to change one step of the Ubuntu installation to make sure you don't overwrite the Windows one :p

Let me know which you decide LOL

hello Zidane24 :geek:

is their such a way like i wouldn't use the GRUB - Open Source Bootloader?

i mean i heard of that style to just like partition the harddisk but i just don't know how.

perhaps i belong to those 'old school' and i want to used the old fasion way LOL. but thanks really for suggesting to used the GRUB - Open Source Bootloader. in fact, i didn't or haven't heard of that too ... not until i joined this forum

cheers!

... and you expect anyone to understand what this is supposed to mean?

huh!

i mean i just activate or revived again my post since i need help or assistance about making dual boot using Win Server 2008, as well, ubuntu.

and though Zidane24 has shared some inputs but perhaps its okay to ask or inquire other ways in doin' so. in fact, i have quote also my earlier reply to the post of Zidane24.

besides, i have joined on these forum in the hope that i can gather some info about my project. well, i guess that their are other people who have knowledge about these. and maybe they just didn't noticed my thread that's why i'm reactivating or reviving it.

cheers! :geek:
