Solved Dual-Boot Win7/Win7 restore points - Any special considerations?

I see Win7/XP dual-boot can have restore points issues so have to ask about best practices for Win7/Win7. Since my drive is partitioned for Win7/Win7/Data is it simply a matter of setting restore points On/Off/Off while in respective OS's?

Yeah, as long as you don't have system protection turned on for the same partition in both OS's, you should be fine.

Since those two Win 7 are in seperate partitions, they each have their own shadowstorage. There should be no problem.

But for good protection, you should make images. Restore points are not very reliable.

Schedule your images. That is easily done in Macrium. Just right click on the XML definition file.
