Hello there, I have just registered.

I have got the following problem: After the installation is complete and I restart, I still got the same menu with language selection and installation stuff. How do I get past this? Also I have managed to get into Windows 7 when I found something strange. The partition I have selected in the erase menu is not there! So I have no idea where is my Mac installation.

Using Partition Wizard I saw that the 17 gb partition that I wanted to use for the OS installation is not fat32 or ntfs but "other" and it's fully used (0 kb unused).

Also using EasyBCD I assigned an entry for Mac os x86 generic but as a default it goes to drive c to NST folder but there, there is only 1 file (1 kb lol).

Help please?

Windows 7 with Intel dual core cpu, 4 giga ram, ATI graphics

This is becuase it is formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) - a format which windows cant read properly :(
I think you might need to boot the mac disk in single user mode (F8 and type "-s") and try to make the partition "active" using certain commands - this is the part where i become useless :confused:
It sounds like thats the problem anyways :huh:

Okay I will try to make it active using Partition Wizard, although I think I have already tried that... Thanks for the help, I will post back with the results!

Well, first of all it's an iso image so no disk for the mac. Then, when I set the partition as active the pc couldn't boot (yes I fixed the problem). So, any other suggestions?

Wait a minute. I have a feeling he's not using a Mac OSX on a Mac or Macbook. Skypower, give me your system information, and I can help. You're saying you installed Windows 7 first... O_o That means you're using a genreic x86 hackintosh.

Uhm yes guys, I am using Windows 7, my bad for not mentioning that. I am currently stuck to the freeze screen (at chameleon) at startup. Generic x86 mac is the entry I have made in EasyBCD to choose between Win7/Mac at boot.

Ohhhh! XD Should've said it was x86 first LOL.

Alright - Did you click save on easyBCD?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WindowsApple's Generic x86 Fix
1. Just Select the OS, SATA/IDE, ext2fs, and some other small drivers.
2. When partitioning, MAKE SURE TO MAKE THE DRIVE A MAC OSX EXTENDED
3. Install....
4. Now, go to Windows 7 and it should say it has encountered an error and stuff.
5. Put in ur Windows 7 installation disc.
Cancel everything until you can open CMD
Enter these commands:
select disk 0
select partition 0
active
exit
bootrec /rebuildbcd
6. REBOOT Into Windows 7
7. Download, Install and Launch easyBcd
8. Add an entry for Mac OSX
8. Need to select that it is a Generic x86
9. Reboot
10. Have fun!!~~
HOPE THIS HELPS LOL
Which Generic x86 are you using? (iAtkos, iPC, iDeneb... etc.)
Also, are you using a laptop or desktop?
Is it legal to talk about illegal things in here? If we're talking about Darwin kernel, then we shall go on, but we are talking about the "other one", which is covered by Apple's EULA...
Please....
