Dual boot Windows 8.1?

Hi everyone,
I hope there's not much trouble by inserting a Windows 8-related thread here. If it does, it's pretty obvious what the next step is going to be
That said, I've just received a laptop with Windows 8.1 in it. However, it comes with the typical bloatware and I want to remove it. So, after some good hours finding out a legit version of the software, I'm now afraid that something goes wrong. So, I decided to first dual boot the current Windows 8.1 and a pristine one, which I want to keep.

So my question is: is it possible to dual boot Windows 8.1, and then remove one of the setups?

Why not just remove the bloatware ?

I believe a clean install is a better option.

That is true, but then windows will not be on the faster part of your hard drive. Best to re install on the factory partition or format the entire drive. But then again, you could always slide the partition to the left with Partition Wizard Boot CD.

Make an image of your current installation and install the new system. With the image you can always backpaddle.
