Hi

I have a problem on my computer that I cant solve. I have windows 7 enterprise loaded and its the only operating system on the machine. A while ago, about 6 months ago, my computer refused to load windows and I used the startup repair utility on the windows 7 DVD to repair the "boot", before it was working properly. Now when I start my computer Im presented with a list of options (I think the page is called Boot Manager - sorry Im not at my computer at the moment) anyway on this page is START WINDOWS and START WINDOWS, I need to click on the second START WINDOWS and then my windows starts. How do I fix this, clicking on the option is doable but its becoming a pain to do.

Nick

Hello nickynoo :)

Click the start button. In the search bar at the bottom of the start menu, type "msconfig" (without the quotes) . You will get the System Configuration window. Click on the second "Boot" tab, and upload the screenshot of the result.

I mean, upload this thing ...

It will help us to decide our next step, exactly what to do.

Edit : What happens if you opt for the first option ?

It looks like you have cracked Activation and it is config'ing the crack's loader onto a Dual Boot menu.

We are not able to help you further with pirated copies of Win7.

If you're unaware of this then the procedure would be to use the legal Product Key on the COA sticker or included in genuine retail Win7 package, wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 - the steps are the same for retail.
