Dual Boot

I have Windows 7 64 bit. And I am trying to install older versions of Windows to play older games that do not run on 7. I have a second hard drive the I am trying to install them on to. My plan is to install 95 and XP on the second hard drive.

I insert the 95 disc and restart my computer and go to the BIOS and make it boot from the disc drive first. But it just boots up 7. And when I go into the disc and try to run startup.exe it gives me this "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64(64-bit) version of the program, then contact the software publisher."

So is there anyone out there who can help me get this working?

i though windows 95 is still use 32bit, so if you want to install wins 95 in 64bit,, it's can't.
because at that time wins 95 is just support for 32 bit only.

But i am trying to install it on a separate Hard drive! shouldn't that make a diffrence?

Thanks for that! I guess i will just have to do XP... I would of tried to install XP by now but it is in a box in my parents garage. Just wanted to see if there is a way to do 95.

I think there are a few members that have installed 95 in Virtual mode.

why not use virtualbox?
