Hi there,

I recently bought a Macbook Pro and have installed a version of Windows 7 which I purchased to put on my old Vaio laptop.
The installation had no troubles and my product key worked. However, it is now telling me that it is unable to activate windows because the product key is not valid with this version of Win7 (or words to that affect).
IS there a way around this at all? It is clearly a 100% genuine version of Win 7 Professional I bought and downloaded from Microsoft.
Someone has suggested that I uninstall it from my old laptop and try again but i cannot because I am selling my old laptop to my parents.
I hope someone can help
Thanks,

Ben
