Dual booting with Windows 7?

I currently have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit installed on my computer on a SSD drive, and I'm trying to install Windows Server 2003 on a second hard drive (regular SATA II HDD).

When I boot with the Windows Server 2003 CD, everything seems to be fine... it pops-up the usual blue screen and the drivers are loading, but once the drivers are done loading, I get this error message:

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent
damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your
computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives
or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly
configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption,
and then restart your computer.

Technical informaiton:

*** STOP: 0X0000007B (0XF789EA24, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)"

Any idea why this message pops-up and prevents me from installing Windows server 2003? Is it possible to have a dual boot with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003?

Any help would be much appreciated. If more info is needed, let me know.

The generally accepted method, or at least the one I personally use, is to always install the older OS first, then install 7 afterwards.
The win 7 bootmgr won't have issues allowing the older OS to boot. However, the older OS is very likely to cause problems for windows 7 if attempting to write to boot sectors over it.

Load xp sata drivers with f6 during install.

If your CD, does not support your Sata Controller, you will need to load drivers to uses at F6.
Load Sata Controller drivers with a floppy disk is the best way.

Thanks ALOT for the help guys, it was indeed the sata drivers missing from the install CD. I added them with nLite and it did the trick!
