dual core cpu ?

What dualcore cpu will run windows seven fast enought , i dont want a monster pc , just fine to play like modern warefare 2 etc.

i was thinking of a 2.66 ghz dual core cpu

2.66 Ghz Dual Core CPU can cover quite a broad range. I'd recommend any Core 2 Duo or Core i3 to get the job done nicely. Even a Pentium D 805 would do just fine but for a smoother experience, a Core 2 or i3 would be better. It depends on what you have right now and if you're willing to spend or if you even need to do so. What type of CPU do you currently have?

And I'm assuming Intel, if you have an AMD, you could easily upgrade to a Phenom II or Athlon II for decent performance.

I have a Core 2 Duo E6300, which runs Windows 7 very smoothly at stock speeds. I have mine overclocked, but I wouldn't recommend that unless you have aftermarket cooling.

i have msi g41tm-p31 motherboard professional series
i now have a 2.66 ghz celeron single core
i have ati radeon hd 4300/4500 series
windows 7 ultimate 32bit

qiute now its only my prossesor that slow , i was at the point off buying it there in the shop
butt needs some persons that have the expereince with dual core cpu's

If you want to upgrade on the cheap (relatively speaking), you could get a Pentium Dual-Core E6500 or E6700 and it would work on your motherboard provided you updated your BIOS. For more money, you could get a Core 2 Duo E7500 or E8400 or better yet, a Core 2 Quad Q9400. In any event, your motherboard can be upgraded to a really good CPU.

Again, though the Celeron will technically run Windows 7 and most likely technically play Modern Warfare 2, you're going to be sacrificing performance but if you don't want to do that, any of the upgrades I suggested would work. Take a look at the full CPU Support Chart for your motherboard and figure a budget to choose a CPU to which you would like to upgrade. MSI Global – Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more

the windows is runing but not like other computers in my house run it

Keep in mind that while a dual core CPU will help balance out the workload, and give a much smoother experience in Windows, you may be slightly disappointed when gaming.

Many Games depend mostly on the GPU. If the graphics are onboard (integrated) you may still have some issues gaming smoothly.

Im not saying do not upgrade the CPU. In fact, I think moving up to a dual core will help smooth everything out overall.
Im simply saying, do not be surprised if you do not get a big bump in 3D gaming performance.

I agree with Wishmaster, the GPU will have a greater impact on games than the CPU although a faster CPU helps, it's not as much of an impact as the GPU.
