All, I would like to know if its possible to have a dual install of excell on an existing platform using Windows 7.
Currently I'm testing Office 2010, specifically excel on a 64 bit machine. Office 2010 is installed as a 64 bit version on my main drive "C:"
How ever I'm currently studying for MOS but its for Office 2007 and I would like to install a copy of Office 2007 "STUDENT" on either C or D drive. Any thoughts or suggestions will be most welcome.

.
FWIW I have the 64bit Office 2010 beta installed along side 32bit Office 2003 Pro without problems. Note that when I installed the beta it took over the file associations. I'm guessing if you installed Office 2007 it would take the file associations from your 2010 install, but you would want to check afterward to make sure you have the desired default programs. I can't comment on installing to a drive other then C: I have a vague memory of that being problematic in the past so you might want to check that out.

Thanks for the response, I'll try it this afternoon and report back the results.

You can have two office installs with no issues, but you can only have ONE instance of outlook installed on a machine at any given time. FYI
