Solved Dual Monitor - Do I Activate My Overclock?

Well I just recently acquired a new tv that will serve as a secondary monitor too. I have my gpu to dynamicly overclock when a 3d program starts, should I set it to overclock when I connect my second screen.

I noticed that at startup with no programs running, my gpu was fan was at medium and as soon as I activated my overclock (one 3rd higher clock speed) it switched back to low speed. Should I set it to dynamicly overclock when my second screen is turned on?

The percentage of performance gain that you will get out of any overclock will be marginal at best. If you're running in to frame rates issues in Windows with a single display, do not expect to have an optimal experience with multiple displays in anything at all.

The best solution for you would be to buy a better GPU.

the fan speeds up becouse the resolition has inctreased in the secondary monitor, clear that it needs much more process to show the window with that higher res.

But when i activate it... The fan slows down meaning it has made it easier for the card to process it

think this way, when you switch it to the high performance, it has more power to preview the screen, but in the other one it need more process to perform to do the same thing
