Dual monitor problem

Hi all
I have just been out and brought a dvi to vga adaptor so i can run my small 15'' monitor with my 17'' one.
The res for the 17'' one is at 1280 by 1024
The max res that the 15'' can handle should be 1024 by 768 but i can only get it to show at 800 by 600.

I see you're using Nvidia, so I can start by asking, do you have Nvidia Control Panel? You can either check it in your Control Panel, or right clicking on your Desktop.
If you have it, run it, go to the Resolution page, and see if both screens are there. Set up your resolution as you wish, if it's not on the list make your own Native one!

Thanks but the res issue is solved now but when i got that to work the colour went all cream like.
