Dual Monitors, Separate Backgrounds

I'm trying to figure out a way to set separate backgrounds for each monitor in a dual monitor setup. This is not important in the slightest, but perhaps I can capture your interest when I tell you why I want to be able to do this.

You see at work we are supposed to lock our workstations when we leave them unattended, as a basic security practice. However the people here also have a healthy sense of humor. An example of this would be that one day, one person forgot to lock their workstation, and as a result someone set their background to Hello Kitty as a friendly reminder lol.

Expanding on that, I got the idea for a bit of a good natured prank I'd like to implement given the proper opportunity. I'm thinking of taking a screenshot of the person's desktop, setting that as their wallpaper, then moving all their icons elsewhere (: Simple to fix, as I will have left them all their shortcuts still, as well as a map of where to place them all lol, but it should be comical for the duration of their struggle to figure out what the heck is going on.

The problem is that every workstation here has at least two monitors. The screenshot creates an image of both of the monitors together, but I haven't been able to get it to display as one image spanning across them both when set as a wallpaper. Another way I was thinking of doing this is splitting the screenshot up into two separate images, but I was unable to find a program that would enable me to set a different background for each monitor. I found a program or two that takes care of this, but I don't know that there will be much extra time for all of that. Plus, we don't want to leave behind any obvious clues, and cleaning up after the install would take even more time.

Any ideas?

Edit: Some machines are Windows 7, some are Windows 8, but all are x64. A solution for either would allow me to take my plotting to the next level lol.

I agree with the guys saying display fusion. Windows 8 has native support to do it, I wish 7 did

It does... I had it working and messing with nvidia tools installing a graphics card I disabled it somehow... When I figure it out I'll follow up.

Windows 7 DOES support this. I can't be the only person in the world to have had this working.
