Duel booting with linux and windows

here are the settings to change the bootup order in grub in linux and also to change the utc settings for the clock in linux both using terminal commands (same as windows command promt) when you are using duel boot in windows and linux.

a big update to this thread i have found a linux program for ubuntu/kubuntu that will do the same thing as my post here it is

StartUp-Manager

yes its ok i have tested it on my system it seems ok read the whole article about it though some of what they show is still under development but for what does work is fine it saves all that work in terminal to change the boot order i stumbled on the program looking for reasons why i cant boot from a live cd since i have had the grub boot up for kubuntu and windows 7 (i have a new hard drive today and i want to download some different linux distros to try on it i mean if i like what i see i would install to the new drive but i cant get them to boot i use the live so if i like em i find its quicker to get the system installed rather than waiting for a large download of the cd/dvd iso you get the updates and pakages so much quicker because you are logged into there servers.)
