I have recently been setting up new User Accounts and now have one Standard User and one Administrative Account. The Standard User is the same as the account I had before I deleted 2 old Admin Accounts and set up a new Admin Account.
My problem is that there is a duplicate Standard User Folder in the Desktop section of the Windows Explorer Directory. I have tried moving some of the contents to the default User Accounts Folder under Windows C but the one in Desktop simply recreated the contents. This was an App Data Folder.
I tried to follow the instructions on another thread for restoring the folder to Default Location by opening run Windows with the shell command and opening properties on the folders in the Desktop Section but the Location is recorded as C:\Users\(Standard User name) which is correct. Clicking on Location has no effect.
Can you please advise as I am not happy having 2 Standard User Folders.
