During Video Card driver install computer goes to blue screen/Restarts

I just got a open box supposed to be never powered on graphics card and I cant get it to intall the driver on windows 7 pro and I have no idea where to begin to look computer is completely stock dell optiplex 780 with the exception of the video card when I try to install the install software gets to a step saying detecting hardware and immediately crashes this happened even with the video card removed I used the amd auto detect hardware and it found the card and downloaded required software to install

Think I have narrowed this down to a bad video card with some wiggling of the heat sink it sprang back to life and i have luckily been able to return it for my money back.

Now i need to find a graphics card again I am looking to spend under $50 usd and it not have to upgrade the ps is perfered

this is going in a optiplex 780 sff

I'll second what AddRam has said and add Gigiabyte. I have had good luck with their video cards and they come with a 3 year warranty.

Any of these should work without needing a larger power supply but do check the specs. They will be fine for casual gaming and watching DVD's or Blu Ray. No they won't play the withcher 3.
