Solved Dust Fan Filter

Hey, i just ordered 2 dust fan filters for my two intake fans on my left side panel.

They work quite well.

Here is how i installed them, is this ok.

Woven mesh pvc heavy duty BOAT SCREEN by the yard - eBay (item 190408234158 end time Nov-19-10 06:34:21 PST)

I figured that it would be easy to wash, and cheap to replace if needed. It wouldn't light up, but I wouldn't care for that anyway.

Hello there fellow Windows 7 user, i could imagine how much dust and fluff could be cleaned out of a filter through time.

I have mesh material which i shall be using for another intake fan.

Correct you are. Also stockings and hold-ups would suffice.

I ditched my ghetto pantyhose filters for some DEMCi Flex filters a couple of days ago - all I can say is that I hope they as effective with dust as they are at reducing airflow

On the plus side, they look better than pantyhose...

I would not use the KINKY Option likes.

They're definitely better off on legs than cases.

Unless tranny cases are your thing...

You can buy Black Nylon Sockettes (just the foot part with no legs) that just slip on without having to modify them.
They are cheap and work extremely well.
