DVD drive keeps ejecting

Hello my Laptop lenovo DVD drive ejects by itself as soon as the laptop is turned on.. Before it started it used toe take a long time to read a disk and than would eject it giving an error message Please insert a disk in drive. After a while it just kept ejecting as soon as its turned on.

i will be very grateful for any help available

i also tried to disable and uninstall the drive and reload it again, but it does'nt help

Did You:
1. installed a recent os
2. does it eject manually or digitally in computer , dvd , right click, eject
3. does it eject on windows booting up
