Hi Everyone, I am hoping that someone will be able to help me. I have recently installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit onto my computer. I have had no problem before today with my DVD drive. Now I have tried to use and it tells me there is an error and I should troubleshoot which I do. It then tells me that it cannot install the drivers for my pioneer DVD-RW DVR-216 drive and even my virtual disk drive is not working. I have tried uninstalling it and then restarting it just tells me that it is unable to install the drivers. I am at a loss at what I should do I really need to get the dvd drive up and running again. I looked on the pioneer website and there is nothing there to help me either.

Please help !!
Kim

Hi Kimmey
Try this fix from Microsoft. It looks like your problem. I found on another site that this solved a problem exactly with the Pioneer DVR-216
