Dear Futuremark readers,
With DirectX 11 and Windows 7 creeping up on us, it looks like game developers are starting to hop on the new-tech bandwagon. Earlier this week, Codemasters announced that they were delaying the PC edition of their highly anticipated off-road racing title, Colin McRae: DiRT 2, so they could take full advantage of Microsoft's next API. It should be very interesting to see what kind of an impact it'll have on the next generation of games and if developers will rush in to support it or if they'll be a little more cautious after the whole DX10 debacle. Either way, I'm intrigued!
Anyways, enjoy the news and I'll see you next week!
