Dynamic and basic partition on one physical disk - is this possible?

Hello, I'd like to know whether it is possible to have both dynamic and basic partitions on one physical drive - and if yes, could you tell me how to do it? I tried both searching and doing it myself, but I can't figure out an answer that I'm 100% sure of. Thanks!

All fans PWM; speeds at idle: CPU circa 500 rpm; intake circa 600 rpm; exhaust circa 600 rpm; CPU temps 27 idle and 47 C load in a warm room (27 C/81 F) when running Intel Extreme Tuning Utility stress test.
I was mostly just curious because we learned a bit about this in school, but I wanted to know more. Thanks for clarification.
