Option 4 would work, but definitely back up your data first.

Partition Wizard has a bootable version. It's mentioned in option 4 from your link.

To convert Dynamic to Basic without wiping the HD first, use free Partition Wizard bootable CD before version 4.2 after which it became a paid feature. pw422.zip ISO - Windows Live

Download and burn to CD using WIndows Image Burner, boot PW CD, rightclick to delete any partitions you added which tipped it to convert to Dynamic. You can only have four Primary partitions or 3 Primary and unlimited Logicals. Once you no longer exceed those limits, click on HD to highlight it, from disk tab select Convert Dynamic to basic Disk, OK, Apply steps.

Watch this video to see how it's done exactly: How to convert dynamic disk to basic disk with Partition Wizard?

If you will then post back a screenshot of your Disk mgmt drive map and listings we can advise you how to add new partitions as desired.

Thnx Greg, tho everything was done tho Hirens Boot CD.

Out of curiosity what specific tool did you use on the Hirens CD.

What tool will non-destructively convert Dynamic to Basic disk on Hirens Boot CD?

I'm still curious about this. I know you can do the data loss procedure as outlined in the Forum Tutorials.
I believe EaseUS Partition Manager can do it but it doesn't appear to be on the latest 15.1 Hirens Boot CD.

Sorry i din t noticed the posts. I can t really remember good, i was testing 2 3 tools which offered lossless procedure but i belive it was something "super disk" or like that. I had 6 Partitions on one drive, and deleted 3 (were free) nd that software did the trick.
