E-mail Links

I'm having trouble sending messages via E-mail links on websites. Every time I click on a link to contact someone a pop-up comes up saying:

"Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed"

What default mail client does it mean and how do I install it?

You need to setup default programs.
Click Start - Default programs - Set default programs. If you have any email client installed like windows live mail, outlook, select that program on the left side and on the right hand side bottom, click on set defaults for this program.

Yep, I've got Windows Live Mail. So now I've set it as default any E-mail link on the Net I click from now on will work through this?

to be sure type default in search then go to default programs, and make sure that WLM is set up as default. If it is, everything should work. If not you will need help with the settings.

Seems to be working. All I had to do next was type in my E-mail address and my password and a text box came up.
