They just don't want to pay for it. Even tho most games cost around $60 a pop....

But at least their cheapskate motivations have a grain of positivity in them, I just hate seeing them use that as an excuse when pure bottom line is the only reason.

Q is, why do they even sell games over the counter any more? They could be REALLY green by switching to a DL model only.

quite a few people don't have access to fast enough internet to download the games in a timely manner, so there needs to a physical medium for those people.

I agree. Environmental friendly my ass. I'd rather have a physical manual instead. I'm not really interested in reading a manual on my monitor. I'm glad I quit buying their games a few years ago then. Good luck EA, you're just going into the toilet now. Hope you like it.

And will they be publishing these in a proprietary format like PDF? Whichever format they choose, I'm sure it will drum up business for the proprietary format owner (a planned affiliation?). I guess I am cynical this way

Nope it's all about the money..they save...environment roflmao....EA couldn't care less.... bet the game does'nt drop in price at all...

and as afterthought..you download it and print it on ummm paper...more Daed Trees EA...think of the environment guys and drop dead..that would save ummmm air pollution, wasted space and a buncha things I cbf'd typing out.

You can count me in as one who would like to have a physical manual with my game. If you can charge me 60 bucks for a shortened game awaiting pay for DLC patch-ins, you can give me a physical game manual. Geesh!

Naw, just push buttons until things happen. I literally have not read a game manual in like 10 years (I am 19).
