I give up! I am trying to assist a family friend who has macular degeneration & VERY poor eyesight. He uses his new PC with Win7 (x64) primarily for creating documents in whatever the latest version of Corel's WordPerfect suite is out now (6?). On his VISTA machine, he uses the Alt+Shift+PrintScr combo to turn on the high contrast theme before starting WP. It turns the background black, the text to bright white, and hyperlinks are in bright yellow. I spent hours today trying to get the same results under Win7, but WP insists on showing hypertext links in dark blue, which is invisible to him. I'm not familiar with WP (haven't used it since DOS 6.22!), but I followed its less-than-direct :sarc: instructions for modifying this... but it just doesn't stick. I can't tell if the issue is with WP, Win7 or what. Can a WP/Win7 guru help me with this? The poor man's machine is nearly useless to him without light, bright text on a dark (preferably black) background.
Any suggestions or work-arounds would be greatly appreciated!
