wlrdlr,
I have a Kodak camera with its on storage plus a 2 GB stick which I use to keep separate from my other
photo's.
Open Easy Share and add your pictures in that software. Name each album and insert those photo's there.
You can even e-mail your pictures from there.

You can also take the SD stick from camera, insert into PC, open my computer and look for the SD stick where you can add to your pictures to a named folder.
Post back if you need more help and Welcome to 7 Forums.

Hi Dennis, the way it worked on my xp program was that after I plugged the camera into my usb cable it just opened a window in which i could view all of the photos, check the ones that I wanted, rotate them if necessary & then send them to (my pictures) file. It had a box that I could check that removed the pix from my camera after they were sent to ( my pictures). It was very basic & easy to use. I used the disk that came with the camera to set it up originally but it won,t work w/7 because the drivers wont work. Is there an older program that can be downloaded off of the Kodak site that I might have used originally. You have an awesome page!

If I understand you correctly(I started Easy Share with my old XP OS) and when I upgraded to Vista and 7 I download Kodak Easy Share from an old disk that came with camera. Recently I downloaded the Easy Share from the internet and it was basically the same as the old disk (maybe a few changes).
With the new Easy Share you just grab photo and slide it to the right column to e-mail or delete the photo or even edit it.

The SD disk(from camera) I inserted it in PC(Not using Easy Share) and sent it to the folder I had made for it.
There I can grab a photo and edit or play with other software.
Hope this helps but if not be more specific what it is you want to do with a certain photo.

Don't have them anymore, but have had a couple of Kodak cameras in the past and I found it easy to just use the Windows built in picture import function, no need for Easy Share at all. Worked the same on XP, Vista and Windows 7; just plug the camera in and import the pictures. No fuss, no muss, no bother, and no extra bloatware.

Hi Stormy, Where do I find the picture import function?

What image software are you using as it has import in the file list?
Google free image software like paint.net.
I will find you some more to choose from.

You have probably figured out that I am computer challenged. Whatever came w/windows 7 home premium is what I have. Do you know if there is one already included with it? If I don,t have one which one that you listed is easiest to use? Sorry to be a pain!

First off, you are not a pain.
How do you think I learned? I knew absolutely zero when I joined here and the GFX team and PooManUK took me under their wings and made me learn how to fly.

Look under Custom sig and Avatar or Software issues for more help.

They say gimp is friendly user software so download it and import a picture then let you creative mind go to work and edit it.

You might want to try going to your pc and then pictures.
Right click on a picture and open with Windows Photo Gallery where at the top is fix.
When you right click you will find a drop down list of photo imaging software on your computer try to find one that opens the photo where you can edit it.

What did I use? None, Windows detected the camera (and does the same with the Fuji I currently have) as soon as I plugged it in, and Autoplay took care of the rest. Then I just use Paint or the Picture Manager included with Office for any editing that may be needed.

You can try to use the auto restore of the win7.
Right click on the Computer -- System protection -- Sytem restore -- Find the time before you install your drive for camera.
