Hello guys,

What bargains have you brought from Ebay?

I have a few. This is what I am buying next (sometime this week hopefully):

1. Stethoscope (so I can hear my heart, just for fun)
2. Authentic Wind-up Skeleton Watch (prefer that sort)

Once I have brought them and arrived I will show some photos.

I'm very careful what I buy on eBay; many technical/electrical goods are customer returns and refurbished items... or are faulty... eBay has a lot of fake goods on their website, oh... and never trust a Power Seller, erh... Top rated seller... :p

It is strange you should say that. Over the last seven years I have purchased probably 50 items on Ebay and been pleased with everyone. There are some unusual things you can find on there. I am leary of software. I purchase Office 2003 and it specifically said Not an OEM or Student Disk. As it turned out it was a Student disk, it still worked but it was not what they had listed. I won't buy software on there anymore but actual physical items I have had very good luck with.

Just bought a Touch Pro 2...listed as "NIB" and "clean ESN" so there shouldn't be any problems there. Picked it up for $350 whereas through Sprint, w/out an upgrade, I would have been looking at $600 . Then went ahead and bought accessories for it (spare "OEM" battery, desktop cradle, and screen protectors).

I'm pretty leery as well, when it comes to electronics. I do know that I will steer clear and fork out the extra money (for the real deal) if the equivalents on eBay look like cheap crap.
