Anyone know how to change the fact that my location is being showed when i'm selling an item on ebay? you guys can view my item on eBay, My item number is 260630976227 ... It says it's being shipped from Springfield MA wich is my location... is there a way to set it so that it doesnt show where from?

Not to my knowledge. As a buyer you would want to know where the item is shipping from.

Yeah, if you work elsewhere I'd use you work phone number and the city. I live in York ME and worked in Kittery ME but we had an official address in Portsmouth NH so I used that s my location. If you don't and you have a friend, or family member, who lives outside of your area you could ask to use their information. Since I traveled a lot my items did not always ship from where it showed and I always told the buyer where the item was shipping from simply telling them my work had me nearer that location.
Of course buyers for high quality bamboo fly rods and reels and high end musical instruments generally are good communicators.

On any item on ebay the city will always be mentioned. It might not show up on the profile but will always do on the item. The reason is because ebay mentions it so that the buyer can have an idea of where the item will be shipped from. I dont think there is any way to remove it.

hi i dont know it its the same layout as the uk ebay but here just go onto revise listing and near the bottom it will say change location click that and delete your home town,though like here you have to leave united kingdom wrote in
