Edit Plan Settings interuptions

Hello,

Looking for some help on a laptop problem.

Whenever I go on the internet and try to go on a webpage the window for "Edit Plan Settings" (power) comes up. The options in the boxs have reset themselves to the factory defaults (Screen brightness, screen dim etc)

This means I am unable to go on the internet as this interrupts what I am doing and the webpage doesn't try to load.

This dosnt happen when I load other programs, only Firefox NOT Internet Explorer.

Not sure at this point if a virus or other problem (very strange problem)

any help or thoughts on this would be very helpful.

Try running Firefox with Add-ons disable, see if it still occurs. If not then one of them is the problem so use Add-ons from the Firefox drop down menu to disable them untiul you find the one that is the cause.

The easiest way to start FF without Add-ons is to start FF, then click on Firefox at top left of wiondow then click on Help then Restart with Add-ons disabled.
