If you have an AMD system, you need both of these updates and a new DirectX install. My FPS @ 1080p on custom High (with SSAO + AA + Ubersampling + Vsync disabled, rest on High/Enabled) increased from 35-40 to 40-55+, minimum is now a smoother 40, with virtually no hitching, with an average that pushes past 50FPS. I haven't seen the FPS drop below 39 (yet). Well worth installing!

What GPU are using to get 35+ FPS with Ubersampling On?

Crossfire setup?

Ubersampling is off. Turning it On before the update dropped the FPS from 35 to 15 with a 6870. I've left it off. High is good enough. You'd need at least twin 6970's to turn that on.

Oh, I misread sorry.

Yea, it looks like it was certainly meant for SLI / crossfire setups

My 570 was in that ball park as well. Think it was 17, and laggy as could be.

Havent played much since the new patch. Looks like STEAm just downloaded it.

I should check if any performance gains :)

I'd say for me its around 15% improvement at least, and its a lot smoother. Of course, why they didn't test for this given its a new engine is a mystery.

Yea, I think thats about what it said we could expect.

But ...
It also said up to 30% for retail versions.
Just curious, Why would the retail version get more of a performance boost than digital?

The retail had DRM which is now removed with Patch 1.1, and this may have affected performance on some systems. How, I don't know. Crucially, the game is now very playable rather than just about playable. However, the Australian version is cut - some of the quest endings have changed. Apparently payment in sex rather than gold is a big problem. The rest of the game is uncensored (hopefully . . probably).

Interesting. I obviously missed that about the DRM.

Thanks.
