Solved Eliminated Blue Screen issue however, W7 is suggesting the WL Refresh.

I moved my C: Drive from one used PC to another of the exact same type.

HP Elite 8300 CMT.

I am afraid to do the Refresh as I do not know what to do if it claims Windows isn't Illegal!

These were used PC's from the Internet.

I have been using it for many years with no licensing problem.

Since W7 is no longer supported I do not know what to expect.

I have attached the current Windows Experience Level.

Does anyone have experience with this type of situation?

It shows as activated so do not worry. As both computers are the same type and brand, they have the same SLP license.
A OEM computer (HP, Dell etc) like yours comes with a SLP license. You should extract and save this license on a safe place so you can reinstall Win 7 with any Win 7 installation media and activate it afterwords.

Use ABR to backup and restore the SLP license.

To stay up to date, follow the orientations and use Single file with all updates - Simplix

Mega is correct, looked up that SFF it was only ever shipped with 7, so not a problem..... you should also have a W7 COA sticker attached with a backup key on it.

ps your post re sound got me looking at mine, WAS only using generic MS drivers so updated them from HP now using latest available.... rarely use sound so wasnt really worried about it
