Emachines E525 Webcam driver won't work in windows 8 ??

Hi

[FONT=&quot]My Emachines E525 Laptop came with win 7 but i changed it to win 8 pro and it has a built in Camera and i wanted to use it to Recode video[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Please note: i am trying to recode a video using my laptop camera so i will save the video in my hard drive[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]so first issue the driver wont work after installing the camera driver the application start and close[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]no error[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]So i am not sure how to get driver for it that works in windows 8 and

[FONT=&quot]I tried manycams and other 3 software like easywebcam and so on and non of the would see webcam installed[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]I am not trying to chat or skye or anything i would love to have webcam working so i can recode the video and save it in my hard drive[/FONT]

I don't think that your camera is supported under Windows 8

Hi Airbander,

Please have a look at Drivers and software - ThinkPad Edge E525.

Unfortunately the specific camera driver mentioned on the official Lenovo downloads page does not appear to support Windows 8!

Every Windows OS with the exception of W8 appears to be supported!

I hope that you are successful regardless of the above information.
